What is bilingual revision and how does it work?
Once the translation phase is complete, a reviser edits the file by comparing the translated text with the source text. This is why it is called bilingual revision. Reviewers must compare the source and the target content in order to make sure no part of the text has been omitted. They check for terminological consistency and proper use of linguistic register and style.
The reviser is a native speaker of the target language and specialized in the relevant field and subject.
